Following its impressive upset of the ACC's Maryland, the Blue Raiders won all three of the Sun Belt Conference's player of the week awards.

Senior quarterback Joe Craddock was named SBC Offensive Player of the Week after completing 28 of 40 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions while racking up 28 rushing yards on nine carries.

Junior cornerback Alex Suber received the SBC's nod for Defensive Player of the Week for the work he did covering preseason All-ACC first team wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey. Heyward-Bey had three receptions for 90 yards, but 80 of those yards came on a screen in the third quarter. Suber also sealed the win with his interception in the end zone with just over two minutes left on the clock.

Junior punter David DeFatta was the SBC's top performer on special teams. DeFatta punted four times with a 42-yard average. DeFatta also contributed on offense, connecting on a 28 yard pass to tight end Alvin Ingle off a fake punt play in the first quarter.
