Friends and Followers,

We are gathered here today to mourn the death of the greatest storytellers who ever lived, the Protomen. These pioneers were quintessential because they captured the story of the legendary robots, Protoman and Megaman and the ongoing drama between them.

Mankind had always enjoyed watching the Robot Wars between Megaman and Dr. Wiley's band of evil robots. These wars raged on for years, yet man was ignorant and could not tell the difference between good and evil.

The Protomen, however, had not forgotten the legend. Through their Nintendo-synth, rock opera music and their silver face-paint and cowboy outfits, they struck every chord and never missed a beat, while retelling every detail of the great legend.

Their storytelling days have come to an end, but the legend will never die. For you and I, citizens of the lackluster town of Murfreesboro, know the story quite well as they told us. And we shall pass it on to our kids, and they to their kids, and so on and so forth until the end of time. And even when the sun explodes, we shall hear the voice echoing in the galaxy: Protomen, PROTOMEN, PROTOMEN!
