Early voting starts for 2012 election

With only 25 more days until Election Day, voting for some citizens began today with early voters casting their ballots at the polls.

Constituents can cast their votes at the Rutherford County Election Commission Office, Rutherford County Election Commission Annex, Blackman Elementary School or Murfreesboro Sportscom.

The polls at the Rutherford County Election Commissions office are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m Monday thru Friday.  The Saturday poll times change with the Oct. 20 polls being open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the Oct. 27 polls open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The polls for the remaining three locations are open Monday thru Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Saturday poll times at these locations are the same as the Rutherford County Election Commission Office.

Early voting closes Nov. 1, and the votes will be counted after polls close on election night.
