Last-minute Halloween plans for a witchin’ night
As Halloween quickly approaches, college students may be stuck in a rut. Should you gorge on candy or see a haunted house that most likely has the words “murder,” “dead” and “terror” in the title? Although those are all great plans, here are Sidelines’ top five things to do this Halloween week that promises to put a twist in your otherwise not-so-spooky routine.
Bell Witch Fest bellwitchcave.com/ghost_hauntings/bell_witch_halloween.htm
Oct. 26-28 & 31 | Times vary | $8-$20
The Bell Witch is an important part of Tennessee legend. If you don’t know the story, take some time to read up on the many books written about her. If you don’t want to read or feel chills down your spine, go to Bell Witch Cave & Farm, the site where the Witch still haunts today. Once there, you can tour the Witch’s cave, cabins, take a hayride and partake in psychic readings. It’s sure to be one of the eerier Halloween happenings.
