On Monday, Feb. 4, the story "Bible Park USA to unveil plans" contained a number of errors that need clarification.
Plans for Bible Park USA will be filed at the same time public meetings are held, not after.
In the Exodus Experience, the "walls of water" will function as a screen to show a movie about the Exodus, and this will occur before the flame mentioned in the story.
Terri Sterling is a spokeswoman for the park.
The name of the lighting consultant is the O'Hanlon Group. Sterling said: "We are not working on the Dark Skies project with them. The set of beliefs underlying the Dark Skies project will be applied to the Bible Park USA."
Sidelines regrets these errors.

Citizens of Murfreesboro, Smyrna and La Vergne will soon get their chance to take an up-close look at the latest plans for Bible Park USA.

Park developers will unveil designs during an open house meeting in Murfreesboro, which will take place Feb. 12 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lane Agri-Park at 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

Smyrna residents will get their chance to see the plans on Feb. 12 at the Smyrna Town Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. La Vergne's open house meeting will be on Feb. 11 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the city's Multi-Purpose Building.

Park consultants will be on hand to answer any questions.

After the meetings, developers will submit the proposal to the Rutherford County Board of Commissioners. If approved, the park could be open by 2010, according to Armon Bar-Tur, managing director of Safeharbor Holding.

Bar-Tur said the idea of the park is not to instruct people on what they should believe.

"You take away from it want you want," Bar-Tur said. "That's the beauty of the park. If you want to view it as a story or symbolism, that's great. And if you want to accept it as fact, that's great too."

Upon entering the park, guests will cross a bridge that leads them into a village constructed to authentically resemble a Galilean village in the time of Christ. From there, they will be able to venture into the New Testament section, which will feature a theater in which plays derived from biblical stories will be preformed.

Bible park lol lol lol lol lol!!!! That is hilarious!!

I think the name "Calvinist Park" or "Puritan Land" would be more accurate. Hey are they going to have an exhibit of Noah's Ark with a T-Rex on it too?

What a waste of resources!!

I can't even believe this. It's so crazy. And the fact that the name of the Bible Park is punctuated with "U.S.A."... I mean really. It's making fun of itself already. (Continued…)

I am still laughing about this one.

But the strangest part is, they will probably make a lot of cash off the evangelicals. They will love that place. (Continued…)

Please tell me that this isn't 100% confirmed yet.

This is the biggest waste of space and resources ever, not to mention the fact that it will utterly destroy the Blackman community. (Continued…)

How can we get in touch with the board who will either approve or deny this proposal????

I don't care if it was a Bible Park, Six Flags, or Disneyworld. (Continued…)
