Phi Beta Sigma has canceled its 3rd annual FrightNite haunted house this weekend due to unforeseen circumstances.
Alan Brady, president of Phi Beta Sigma, said that the reasons behind the cancellation include "budget concerns, time constrictions and lack of manpower."
"It's a disappointment that we can't host the haunted house," Brady said. "But it's more of a disappointment that it was for a good cause and we can't host it at all."
Brady also said that donations to the American Cancer Society will be made directly from the fraternity, instead of from ticket sales as previously planned. He hopes Phi Beta Sigma will be able to host a Halloween costume mixer this Saturday at the James Union Building to offset the costs.
